Remember when making home made gourmet pet treats for your pets whether it is a dog, cat, or gerbil. Please use the same safety and health precautions that you would use while making and storing items for your family. Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after baking. Store all homemade wholesome pet treats in an airtight container.

When feeding our family pets the fantastic treats that we make, remember that less is best. Pets like people may become overweight by indulging in too many pet goodies.

One of the tricks that I use is to break the pet treats and half or in thirds before I feed them to my little friends.
